About Us
To provide support, education and advocacy through collaborative efforts with other entities for individuals involved in medical group management.
Pennsylvania MGMA is the premiere resource for individuals and the center for excellence in medical group management in Pennsylvania. The Association has been active in the state for many years and is a State Affiliate of the Medical Group Management Association, MGMA. Come and be part of the association committed to you and your medical practice!.
The PA MGMA is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership. There are five officers of the Association. They are: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Immediate Past President. Each officer is a member of the Board. In addition to the five officers, the Board of Directors consists of elected At-Large Directors and the College Forum Representative for the American College of Medical Practice Executives, ACMPE.
We realize that the demands on our time are many. However, with years of experience and the services of an Executive Director, members can offer their time and services without the additional stress that comes with volunteerism. To accommodate work schedules and geographic separation, committees meet via teleconference on a pre-set schedule and use e-mail to accomplish many of the assigned tasks.
The Board of Directors utilizes the efforts and volunteer time of directors and members to meet the needs of PA MGMA. Each committee plays a vital role in the delivery of value-added benefits to the membership. If you are interested in additional opportunities to network with your peers, offer time for the benefit of the Association and/or aspire to leadership positions, we encourage you to contact the committee chairs and let them know of your interest.
