The Governor’s Office of Health Care Reform is looking for candidates for the newly created position of Director of the Governor’s Chronic Care Management, Reimbursement and Cost Reduction Initiative.  A formal job description is being finalized and  should be available in the near future. This position will report to the Director of the Governor’s Office of Health Care Reform.  The successful candidate will manage the work of the Governor’s Chronic Care Commission and related subcommittees and direct the implementation of the strategic plan created by the Chronic Care Commission.  Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in chronic care disease management and show the ability to plan, organize, prioritize and manage multiple work efforts across multiple groups of people both internal and external to the Commonwealth.  They must be able to work well with a variety of constituents including staff from Commonwealth departments, cabinet officials, health care providers, CEO’s, insurance company representatives, union leaders and health care consumers.  To apply for consideration please forward a cover letter and current resume to: Carol Gilliam, Governor’s Office of Health Care Reform, 439 Forum Building, Harrisburg, PA  17120. cgilliam@state.pa.us  For questions concerning the position, contact: Philip W.
